 Meetings are generally on the Second THURSDAY evening of each month.  Where possible, we will endeavour to run a “Workshop Session” during the Thursday afternoon prior to the main meeting, please check web site for further information. Light refreshments available before the Evening Celebration.   Everybody welcome !

 The meeting on May 9^th is a Special One-Off meeting, as a result of flight times, to be held exceptionally in the “The Barn” at the home of John Ingram, La Baronniere, 86250 Charroux. The annual etcetera exhibition and family fun day takes place from 10.30am-5pm at Salle Polyvante, 16500 Lessac.

A fun packed day for all the family with over 70 exhibitions offering more than 1500 visitors a raft of homemade produce, creative crafts, gift ideas and useful services.

 Ordained in the Association of Vineyard Churches USA and Founder of Let’s Go Ministries, Pastor John and his wife Michelle have led international teams since 1993 on over 30 short-term missions to Europe and Latin America, and they continue to organize regular mission trips to France, Switzerland and other nations of the world.

The Chaplaincy supports the work of Christian Aid throughout the year, mainly from the “small change – big change” collecting boxes. The contents of these are directed to the Clean Water campaign which provides equipment and training where there is such dire need for this basic commodity.

However Christian Aid Week is that time when there is an appeal to the wider community and for all of us to make a special commitment to much less fortunate people. Envelopes will be available at our places of worship, so please take one and please put something in it. As you do pause a little and think how this expression of your love will give some hope and encouragement to those in such desperate poverty.  Yes – every four  seconds – think about it – a mother watches her child die – through lack of clean water.  It is a solvable problem, so please help

Balmy weather, strawberries and cream, boaters and blazers and the distant sounds of  Sea Shanties- yes its that time of year again, the Chaplaincy  Summer Fete. Please put the date in your diary and come and join us on  Saturday 9th June  at the Salles des Fete  in Linazay (86) .

Children’s Sunday Funday is held in Civray on the 4th Sunday of each month at The Open Door drop-in centre, 18, rue Pierre Pestureau from 10.30 a.m. until 12.00 noon. This is a morning of activities usually themed around a bible story, for young children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old.
