| Prayers for February 2012 |
Please join others in the Chaplaincy in prayer and thanksgiving:
1st Lord, I will praise your name for your loving kindness.
2nd May I have a closer walk with you during February.
3rd Thank you Lord for the equipment used in hospitals that can give early warnings of serious illness.
4th Forgive my mistakes and failures that hurt you and spoil my life.
5th Please bless Hazel and give her all that she needs to serve you as our chaplain.
6th Thank you Lord for UNICEF and I pray for those who work to bring aid to children through out the world.
7th O come let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
8th Father, we pray that love and care will be given to those who are ill.
9th We thank you for the joy of waking to a new day
10th Lord, we thank you for all the gifts you give to each one of us.
11th Thank you for our pets that love us and that we love.
12th Thank you Lord for music , which helps us to praise you during our services.
13th Bless those who offer hospitality to both Christians and non Christians.
14th Please help us to show your love to everyone we meet today.
15th Thank you Lord, for the variety of fruits and vegetables that are available to us.
16th We pray for charities that rely on our giving, that they may be are able to continue the work they do for those in need.
17th Lord help me to be more caring and understanding.
18th Thank you that we are able to keep warm with fires and heating in our homes.
19th Bless those who are leading and helping at our services today.
20thBless the farmers as they work to provide us with food, especially those who are struggling.
21st Lord help us to prepare our hearts and minds for lent.
22nd Create in me a new and contrite heart, O lord.
23rd Help us to remember that You are stronger than any temptation.
24th Thank you for the friendships we have made here in France.
25th Lord, please protect those whose lives are at risk because of adverse weather.
26th Please bless the children attending the Sunday fun day at Civray this morning.
27th Lord please be with those who feel lonely, and let them feel your presence.
28th We pray for those who have learning difficulties, for their day centers, and for their families.
29th Bless those who celebrate their birthday today.
