A brief insight into how a prayer chain works.
The leads within the Chaplaincy are:-

Anyone needing prayer for any reason (for self, family or others - believer or not) contacts one of the leads with his/her prayer request, taking care to ensure they do not pass on more details than they are comfortable with being shared with others in the chain.
The lead then telephones the other two sub-leads from a list held by the leaders and then each of these (lead and sub-leads) telephones the next one down the column of names they head up.
Each person telephoned takes on the task of praying for the applicant and passing the request to the next one down his/her column.
If the phone is not answered, no message is left but the caller then goes on to call the next one down and so on.
