In some cases Home Groups have decided to collect money to support the work of other Christian Charities, these are not funded directly by the Chaplaincy but could be considered in subsequent years using CATCH.
Supporting a Brighter Life is one of these organisations operating in Thailand, it is strictly not a Charity but is a Christian activity and is supported by a number of people from the Augmagne Home Group.

The Cognac Home Group is also supporting them .
“Our Home Group supports ‘Supporting a Brighter Life’. We do this by putting money in the donations box which is always on the table at Home Group sessions. We also put money in to the box when we are invited to friends homes for lunch or dinner. It is just a small organisation run by Rosanne Ball who is Mike and Sue Painter’s daughter. We support children in Thailand by paying for school fees, uniforms and sometimes a bike which would enable a child living far from school the chance to attend or some other equipment needed. Some money is also spent on medical things which Rosanne takes out when she goes. Since we starting raising money it has amounted to more than £2,000 ” Chris Jones
The Matha Homegroup decided to collect for this charity during this year of activity.
